Jack, mobile lawyer

I was born in Pinjarra, Western Australia, but grew up in Adelaide, South Australia, where I completed degrees in both Law and Psychology at the University of Adelaide. I moved to Sydney in early 2021 after accepting a job at Legal Aid NSW on the Your Story Disability Legal Support team.

Before beginning at Your Story, I worked as a researcher and paralegal for solicitors and barristers across Adelaide and volunteered with JusticeNet SA. In my spare time, I enjoy cinema and art, as well reading about history.

Since completing my practical legal training at the Legal Services Commission of South Australia in Adelaide, I have had a passion for improving access to justice and making Australia’s legal system as easy to navigate as possible. I am now honoured to have the opportunity to help people with disability share their story with the Disability Royal Commission and hope it leads to real change.
