Michelle, Victoria lawyer

I joined Your Story Disability Legal Support in July 2020 and am based at Victoria Legal Aid. I have worked at Legal Help, Victoria Legal Aid, for many years, giving information and advice to callers, including callers to prisoner legal help and disaster legal help.

Before joining Victoria Legal Aid, I worked in several community legal centres. I also worked for One Parent Families, a charity in the UK helping single parents. I live in Ballarat, Victoria. I have four young children, including a child with a disability. In my spare time I teach yoga and I am particularly interested in making yoga accessible and teaching trauma sensitive yoga.

I am currently enjoying working from home, especially when my kids are at school, and am excited to be a part of Your Story Disability Legal Support.
