Your Story to deliver free online training for community workers in the ACT

ACT community workers can learn about the Disability Royal Commission and free supports available at an upcoming online training session with Your Story Disability Legal Support.

Your Story’s ACT lawyer Audria Hu will deliver the session as part of Legal Aid ACT’s ‘Law for Non-lawyers’ training series, which aims to improve legal awareness and communication among lawyers and community workers.

The free online session will cover:

  • What is the Disability Royal Commission?
  • Who can engage with the Royal Commission?
  • How does someone share their story with the Royal Commission?
  • What common legal issues may arise when sharing a story with the Royal Commission?
  • What supports are available for someone who wishes to share their story with the Royal Commission?

If you have any questions about the training or would like to let us know your participation needs, please email us.
