Title: Sharing Your Story with the Disability Royal Commission—Video
Sometimes people with a disability have been hurt, treated badly, refused help or taken advantage of. This is wrong and the Disability Royal Commission has been set up to look at this.
Your Story Disability Legal Support is a free legal service. We are independent from the Royal Commission.
We can answer your questions about sharing your story with the Royal Commission, like:
- How can I share my story?
- How can I keep my story private?
- Can I name the person or organisation that hurt me?
- I signed this legal document which says I can’t talk about what happened, what does that mean?
- Will I lose my job if I share what I saw at work?
We can provide legal support so you can safely share your story.
We give legal support in a way that works for you. Our lawyers won’t tell anyone what you have told them, unless you agree.
For free legal support, call our free number 1800 77 1800 or visit our website www.yourstorydisabilitylegal.org.au.
